MS Windows
Macquarie University through Professor Michael Johnson has been working with Microsoft for the last two years to arrange for students to be able to learn about the internal workings of the Microsoft Windows kernel.

During October we received the (usually secret) source code of the Windows kernel and in Singapore made plans with the Microsoft kernel architect about how we will use it in teaching operating systems in semester 1 next year.  At this stage it looks like we'll be the first university in the country and one of the
very first in the world to include the detailed study of Windows sources in our operating systems unit.
