COMP225 : Algorithms and Data Structures

[5/2/12] Lectures are now being audio-recorded via Echo (formerly iLecture). There was a technical issue last week, when no Computing units at the start of last week (including COMP225) were recorded, but this has apparently been resolved. There is a link in iLearn to the recordings.
[31/1/12] For those checking the website well in advance of semester commencement:
- Note that this year, for the first time, the unit will be taught in Java.
- We will also be using a new textbook:
  
  Adam Drozdek [2005]. Data Structures and Algorithms in Java (2nd ed.). Boston: Thomson Course Technology.
  
  (Note that there's a third edition, but the distribution rights aren't available for this in Australia, so we're using the second edition.)
- Mixed classes will start in week 1. These will be optional classes, aimed at people who don't know Java yet, or who want some refresher exercises.
