[5/2/12] Lectures are now being audio-recorded via Echo (formerly iLecture). There was a technical issue last week, when no Computing units at the start of last week (including COMP225) were recorded, but this has apparently been resolved. There is a link in iLearn to the recordings.

Note that this year, for the first time, the unit will be taught in Java.

We will also be using a new textbook:
Adam Drozdek [2005]. Data Structures and Algorithms in Java (2nd ed.). Boston: Thomson Course Technology.
(Note that there's a third edition, but the distribution rights aren't available for this in Australia, so we're using the second edition.)

Mixed classes will start in week 1. These will be optional classes, aimed at people who don't know Java yet, or who want some refresher exercises.
