Practicals
Practicals are an important part of your learning experience. In the practicals you can try out implementations and experiments based on the material taught in the lectures. Many of the exercises in the practicals are directly related with assignment tasks or exam questions. So, it is in your interest to try out all the practical exercises and ask your assigned practical demonstrator for clarifications.
As the assignments and practical work are assessed in a Unix environment, you might find a Unix crib sheet useful.
Check the unit timetable for practical times.
You are asked to complete work during the practicals and to submit or add to your portfolios. Please read the instructions carefully for adding work to your portfolios and handing them in.
